A lovely place to stay, so close to the beach and town. Libby was a great host, so helpful when we had a problem. The appartment was bigger than we though it would be and we were happy with our stay.

Kitchen and laundry amenities were very good. Extra high ceilings throughout. Bedrooms and bathroom are huge. There is a little much traffic noise to really enjoy the large verandah but one still has lovely views of the ocean from the living areas. Hosts were quick to respond and kind enough to offer mailing us a misplaced important item. Recommended.

Hosts were extremely kind, house in great and very tidy condition. Only issue is the noise from traffic and cockle train, however this was expected given the location of the house. Would definitely stay here again if heading back to VH!

I had a great stay at The Block Penthouse. The apartment was sparkling clean and spacious. The view over to the island is nice too. Everything is within walking distance with McDonald’s and Drakes supermarket 400m away and the big shopping centre 600m away. The only negative thing is the traffic noise but you get used to it, and compared to other accommodation in the area, it is excellent. The host always seemed to be available if there are any questions you have.

Unwind holiday space was just what we needed for 4 ladies going to a golf tournament . Spacious, clean, 2 bathrooms,. somewhere to relax after or before the game and everything at out finger tips - wanted for nothing.

The location was perfect for us and the apt itself was great. We were only given one key for two of us for 18 days (two would be expected) but the manager Libby was great and worked with us for a solution. Internet would be nice!

Great location and a quick walk to all the fun stuff!! A lovely sea view easy access very straight forward. Nice kitchen, older style furniture but comfortable. Basic glasses and plates were in desperate need of updating. If it sleeps 8 people it should have 8 of everything. 3 drinking glasses and 3 water glasses in total just doesn’t cut it. 2 wine glasses just isn’t enough. There was 6 old style champagne glasses but very hot and miss!!! Chipped mismatched mugs, only 4 cereal bowls. We had to buy bin bags, 2 for ten days is not enough and tea towels as none provided. I would have thought this would have been part of the linen. Stains on the quilts wasn’t very nice either. If these basics were amended I would definitely come back as this place is just fantastic!! If you are into trains the Cockle train passes just outside.
